Building worker power, solidarity, and a stronger voice for working families across Western Colorado.
WHAT IS THE WESTERN COLORADO LABOR COUNCIL
The Western Colorado Labor Council is a coalition of local unions, union members, and allies committed to advancing the interests of working people throughout our region. We bring together workers from different trades, industries, and professions to stand united around a simple idea. An injury to one is an injury to all.
The Council provides a space for collaboration, education, and collective action. By working together across unions and workplaces, we strengthen the labor movement and ensure that workers have a voice in decisions that affect our jobs, our families, and our communities.
WHAT WE DO
Coordinate solidarity and cooperation between local unions
Support organizing efforts and collective bargaining
Advocate for pro-worker policies at the local and regional level
Educate members on labor rights, history, and current issues
Mobilize workers and allies for meetings, actions, and community events
WHY IT MATTERS
When workers stand alone, it is easy for our voices to be ignored. When we stand together, we are powerful. The Western Colorado Labor Council exists to build that collective power, not just for union members, but for all working people who believe in fairness, dignity, and respect on the job.
Strong unions and an active labor council lead to safer workplaces, better wages, stronger benefits, and healthier communities. The work we do today helps shape the future of work in Western Colorado.
