Representative Action

Our Representatives are working hard to protect mail service. This page is for posting what our elected officials are doing to help preserve service.

Hickenlooper and Bennet

John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet wrote to Postmaster General DeJoy on February 23rd, 2023 concerning the delivery issues throughout Colorado. This was before the possible plant consolidations which will only exacerbate the problems we have seen.

Michael Bennet

Michael Bennet teamed up with 19 other Senators on, March 13, 2024, to criticise the potential plant consolidations. They addressed lots of issues. We had met with Michael Bennet’s office and were very happy to see that our concerns were addressed by this important letter.

Grand Junction City Council

The Grand Junction City Council, led by Mayor Anna Stout, wrote a great letter to Postmaster General DeJoy opposing the potential consolidation efforts by the Postal Service until they can provide data. They asked questions about the data and and how mail service would be impacted by the proposed changes.
